AMA Atlanta is Calling all Mentees

 

Once again, young marketing professionals can become part of the AMA Atlanta Mentor program, and we want you!

Are you an AMA member with at least two years of marketing experience and committed to the marketing profession?

Are you looking to network with Atlanta’s leading marketing leaders from the prominent companies?

If this sounds like you, then contact Connie Day, mentorship chair for AMA Atlanta by November 25th and begin the Mentor Program today.

Mentorship Program Background

The Atlanta chapter of AMA is pleased to announce the kick-off of the annual Mentorship Program. The AMA Atlanta Mentorship Program to creates an opportunity for budding marketing professionals to interact and engage in discussions of professional ideas and development (marketing and other skill sets), build friendships and expertise through one-on-one meetings with highly experienced marketers to help guide them through the beginning stages of their marketing career.

Participating mentors consist of executive-level marketers (or related fields) representing a wide variety of companies – from prominent brands such as Yahoo! CNN and The Coca-Cola Company, to small and medium sized businesses – all with proven track records in their fields.

Mentee Benefits:
  • Gain key insights from experienced marketers to help define a career path in marketing
  • Learn helpful hints to navigate through corporate politics and make a larger impact in your current organization
  • Establish a better understanding of what marketing is, how marketing benefits organizations and effective marketing tactics you can employ
  • Share your day-to-day excitement and challenges with an unbiased mentor without judgment or retribution
  • Develop and expand your network
