Finders Keepers Helps Those in Need This Winter

As winter approaches, Finders Keepers Consignment Shops is pleased to announce that they will be accepting winter outerwear donations to benefit Refugee Resettlement and Immigration Services of Atlanta (RRISA). Finders Keepers will accept serviceable jackets, coats, hats, gloves and mittens for refugees. People are encouraged to bring in items of all sizes for men, women and children. Donation drop off is available at all three Finders Keepers locations.

“Many of these refugees came to the United States with little more than the clothes on their backs and as the seasons change they need items that will keep them warm during the winter,” said Bonnie Kallenberg, Owner of Finders Keepers Consignment Shops. “Our customers already bring in their unneeded items, so we are asking that our clients help us help others by bringing in their winter outerwear to donate to RRISA.”

Donations will be given to families that have relocated from war-torn and impoverished countries. Donators are asked to bring their donation items to any Finders Keepers location: Fashions, Furnishings or Boutique. For directions and additional information, visit www.fkconsign.com.

“Refugees have relocated to the United States after surviving horrible situations and at RRISA we work to make the transition easier by assisting refugees with necessities such as housing and clothing,” said Leanne Rubenstein, Associate Director of RRISA. “Finders Keepers has been one of our biggest supporters and we are very appreciative of their continued generosity.”
