Career Closet, Inc. has been chosen by
AMA Atlanta to be the recipient of the proceeds of the
AMA annual Holiday Mixer on Dec. 4, 2008 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at
LIT Kitchen.
Career Closet, Inc., founded in 2007, is a nonprofit organization based in Atlanta that provides the tools men and women need to return to the workforce, including professional clothing for interviews and work, interview training, employment referrals and resume services. Clients come from partner organizations such as homeless, battered women and recovery shelters in Cobb, DeKalb, Fulton and Gwinnett counties.
“We’re so excited that AMA Atlanta has selected Career Closet as their benefiting charity. We work to help people looking to re-enter the workforce, and it is fantastic to have such a professional organization take us under their wing,“ said Michele Miller, executive director of Career Closet.
