Alvar Suñol, known around the world simply as Alvar, is a master of media, including oil paintings, drawings, watercolors, sculptures, and hand made lithographs. He is one of the most collected artists in the world, with a loyal and growing following that now spans three generations. The art of Alvar is in the permanent collection of eleven museums world wide. He was commissioned for monuments in Paris to honor Pablo Casals, and in his hometown of Montgat, honoring Mediterranean culture, and is featured in the current issues of Museums & Galleries Guide and Southern Seasons Magazine.

Willie Ziavino, singer-songwriter with over 150 songs to his credit, will be conducting a special performance at the Alvar reception December 6th, 12noon – 3pm. Born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, Ziavino songs are based on experiences and stories torn from the streets of Ecuador. Ziavino began writing songs at age 14. With his tranquil voice and strum of guitar, Ziavino expresses life in his songs.
